What Caught My Attention

What caught my attention most was the energy of the event. Every corner was filled with new ideas, interesting technology and people who genuinely cared about the future of education. I was impressed by how technology is being used not only to make teaching more modern, but also to make learning more engaging, inclusive and meaningful for students.

3 Things I Discovered

1. Artificial intelligence can support teachers in preparing learning materials, giving feedback and creating more personalised learning experiences. However, teachers must still guide students to use AI responsibly and thoughtfully.

2. The best educational technology is not always the most complicated one. A simple tool can create a strong impact when it solves a real problem faced by teachers or students.

3. Students need more opportunities to explore, create and communicate their ideas outside the classroom. Events such as Bett Asia help them see that what they learn in college is connected to a much bigger world.

One Idea For KVKS

One idea that KVKS could develop is an annual Student Digital Innovation Showcase. Students from different programmes could work together to create practical solutions for real issues in the college or local community. The showcase could include websites, mobile applications, digital learning materials, creative media and environmentally friendly innovations. It would give students a platform to share their work, build confidence and learn from one another.

My Best Photo & The Story Behind It

My best photo is the group photo taken with the students at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. It may look like a simple photograph, but it represents preparation, teamwork and a shared learning journey. Behind every smile was a student who stepped outside the usual classroom setting to discover something new. For me, this photo is a reminder that some of the most valuable learning experiences happen when we explore the world together.

Reflection

“After attending Bett Asia 2026, I realised that the future of education is not only about having the latest technology. It is about using technology with purpose, creativity and care. As educators, we need to prepare students not only to become users of technology, but also confident creators and responsible problem-solvers.

I returned to KVKS with fresh ideas, renewed motivation and a stronger belief in the potential of our students. Bett Asia reminded me that meaningful education begins when we give students the space to explore, the courage to try and the guidance to turn their ideas into something valuable.”
